Phoenix Care Havering Limited was founded in 2017 by Sharon Lockey and Christine St Pierre. These two entrepreneurial ladies are passionate about giving exceptional care delivery to all our clients. We use innovative methods for training and use this to inspire our work force to be the best that they can be and in doing so provide outstanding levels of care.

Our management team are:

I started in care at the age of 17 working within various residential and nursing homes. I continued in care working in daycentre for adults with disabilities and then transferred to children and young people with disabilities gaining valuable experiences working closely with families. In 2012 I started to work in the domiciliary care field, gaining more knowledge and experience with people living within their own homes, supporting their care needs. In 2017 myself and Christine St Pierre created Phoenix Care (Havering) Ltd to support the needs of people who want to remain in their own homes.

My journey into care began many years ago at the age of 19. I worked in a residential home for the elderly, which I enjoyed immensely. I loved engaging with the residents, listening to their memories of times gone by was magical. I continued working in residential care for some years until taking time out when I became a mum. I returned to care but chose a different path and started working in domiciliary care. I gained experience in this field and became passionate regarding people’s needs to remain independent and stay in their own homes. This inspired me so much that I decided I would like to have more input in to making this happen. I found creating care plans was very important to me as I got to know peoples wants and needs. It was in 2017 I teamed up with my friend and colleague Sharon Lockey who shared the same ideals and consequently Phoenix Care (Havering) Ltd was born. We have now successfully established a friendly family orientated company that we feel delivers outstanding care to people in their own homes.

I started working in domiciliary care in 2000 after working at Oldchurch Hospital in Romford on the Neurology Ward. I wanted to do more for people before they entered the health system. I started as a part time carer and progressed to senior carer, assessor and finally as an Assistant Manager. I love spending time with people and talking with them. I took some time out of care during the pandemic to be a Covid tester but the pull to do what I was passionate about drew me back. I joined Phoenix Care (Havering) Limited in 2023 and can honestly say that they are wonderful to work . I genuinely care about people and am passionate that people choose and receive what they require to live their best lives.

I started working as a VDU operator in London, when I left school in 1980. I left to work in a couple of different stockbrokers, then a BBL as a secretary where I gained my administrative experience. I worked in London until I started my family then took time out to be a mum. I joined Phoenix Care (Havering) Ltd in 2019 as an administration assistant and I work part time to help support the company with administrative duties such as finance, updating staff records and general office duties.
