An entirely new initiative

“Best Practice”

“Our staff have recently completed the new “Significant 7+” training which is an initiative led by the NHS and which the Care Quality Commission (CQC) perceive as “Best Practice”.

Our staff are now fully trained to recognise early signs of our client’s deterioration and have developed their skills to effectively manage client’s needs. Staff are now both empowered and equipped to take appropriate action, resulting in an improved personalised quality of care for our clients, by actively looking for any deterioration in condition, spotting and identifying ‘early signs’, making early intervention referring to medical professionals. In addition, our staff feel more empowered and confident in their role as carers.

This improves the prevention of avoidable A&E attendances and unnecessary acute admissions for complex conditions and frail patients and assists with pressure ulcer prevention as well as fall prevention.”
